Be careful playing this because sometimes the dialogue will randomly become super loud and jumpscare the hell out of you.
That's probably not even the worst technical issue with this thing!
also also, another @hg101.bsky.social article I did came up during the week, for Tequila & Boom Boom! It's an attractive-looking spaghetti western point-and-click adventure starring animal people, but it's sadly unfinished in a bunch of ways. One for the 90s furry adventure game fans, at least?
hey howdy everybody! I've got a new @hg101.bsky.social article up on the site today, looking at the spiritual successor to those cool Marble Blast games from the early 00s, Marble It Up! If you like momentum-based marble rolling with good tunes, here you go! www.hardcoregaming101.net/marble-it-up/
Tequila & Boom Boom, a late 90s point-and-click adventure taking place in the American Wild West but featuring cartoony anthropomorphic animals.

Feck it, have this drawing I did a couple weeks ago of Bubsy as Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3.
Hullo howdy y'all! Today's my 30th birthday, and I decided to mark the occasion by putting out what turned out to be my 20th album of music! It was made rather quickly and hastily, but I hope there'll be something okay in it. Give it a listen! jimsjams.bandcamp.com/album/20-goi...
Dang, that's unfortunate. Thanks for answering my question at least! : )
@spacecaptsteve.bsky.social Hullow howdy, I've been on a bit of a Ty the Tasmanian Tiger kick over the last month, playing a bunch of the games and reading the pretty awesome artbooks. Have you considered doing an artbook for Ty 3 and talking about its development?
Hello, Big Mac.
Finally getting round to playing Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3, and came face to face with the most 2005 thing anyone could put in a kids' game.
The secret is out β my authorised biography of Sir Roy Clarke (Last of the Summer Wine, Keeping Up Appearances, Open All Hours) is to be published by Ten Acre Books in 2026. Getting to know Roy over the years has been a joy and it's a honour to be entrusted with telling his story. Watch this space.
trying to get back into watching looney tunes shorts, and damn some of them are saucier than i remember
lmao I'd love to see that out of morbid curiosity. Even if it's not by him, I'd have no issue believing it was considering his main body of work since the mid-90s has been the NSFW Sabrina Online.
I also discovered last night he did a 40th anni Amiga fan animation! www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7xG...
Hullo howdy again, my latest @hg101.bsky.social article is now up for everyone to read. Continuing the mascot platformer theme I've been mucking round with, it looks at MicroProse UK's decent though frustrating Tinhead for the Mega Drive (and technically SNES). www.hardcoregaming101.net/tinhead/
6.) Sympathizing with Eric W. Schwartzβs βPlight of The Artistβ - by @frdougal9000.bsky.social
Very neat write-up on a vintage furry animation and how the creative process can be grueling at times.
I'm currently feeling the same way as Dougal right now.

Hey howdy, I wrote a cartoon blog for the first time in a while. Just a short thing talking about one of Eric. W Schwartz's furry amiga animations from the 90s, and how it resonated with me a bunch cartoonmilk.com/plight-of-th...
Hello, Big Mac.
@shoogles.bsky.social hey howdy, I ended up playing through the original Legend of Zelda during the week and managed to beat it for the first time after nearly 20 years! it wouldn't have been on my mind if not for your excellent vid, so I just wanted to let you know and thank you for that vid! : )

Hey howdy! It's the weekend, so why not relax with my latest @hg101.bsky.social article? It looks at the educational SNES sidescroller Bronkie the Bronchiasaurus, an okay game that teaches players about asthma via the medium of asthmatic dinosaurs! Really!

Hey howdy, it's Bandcamp Friday so I might as well promote my music page. If there's anything there you like the sound of, maybe throw me a couple euros. (It's all free anyway, so no worries)
I'd happily recommend the albums FISH MUSIC, To You (Part 1?), and Doodles jimsjams.bandcamp.com
oh god I forgot about that game. i only played it briefly yonks ago, but i can see what you mean lol.
thanks for following me btw, and thank you so much for recommending folks grab that usagi humble bundle months ago. i got to reading that comic proper cuz of you, and it's a banging good time! : )
Ever played Aladdin on the Genesis but wish it had cartoon pigs and was mediocre? Look no further, because I've got a @hg101.bsky.social article up today talking about Radical Entertainment's late SNES platformer Power Piggs of the Dark Age! www.hardcoregaming101.net/power-piggs-...

I sat down to write a lil review for Earth Defence Force 2's Japan-only Switch port, and I somehow ended up writing over a thousand words on the thing. TL;DR - it's EDF, it's good times, but maybe there's too much here. Genuinely baffled I wrote so much...

Howdy folks, my first @hg101.bsky.social article in a while is now available to read! It looks into the pretty neat Japan-only Saturn platformer Willy Wombat, developed by Westone and featuring designs by Susumu Matsushita & English voice acting! www.hardcoregaming101.net/willy-wombat/
Klonoa X Kingdom Hearts #art
fan art of Sonic the Hedgehog. he's in green hill zone, bouncing off a spring to excitedly grab some rings, while a spike snail stands nearby. the fan art is accompanied by a caption that says "WHAT A STUNNER One of the best drawings yet received by us lot at MEAN MACHINES was sent in by the very talented Matt Lyon of Basingstoke, Hants. His stunning picture of Sonic the Hedgehog is a real eye-catcher. I'm sure we'll be seeing lots more stuff from this guy in the future - keep your eyes peeled."
shout out to this fucking rad bit of Sonic fan-art by Matt Lyon, adorning the pages of Mean Machines issue 10 (July of 1991, making this one of the earliest known pieces of Sonic fan-art)
A bunch of pictures I took from the 1947 stop-motion adaptation of the Tintin book Crab with the Golden Claws (by Claude Misonne)
