From each according to their credit score I guess.

I knew him from Alpha Flight but didnโt know about all other stuff he built his reputation on ๐
Oh right on. That was Jasonโs favorite.
Mine was a tie between Wonder Woman and Ivy ๐คฉ
I love this but does some web expert know why Batgirl has dark hair here?
Love to see the classics at the library ๐๐๐
@gwillow.me
So if Iโm thinking about circling back to Resident Evil this might be the time?
๐
Explaining variant covers to my son today.
The first example he saw was the DC womenโs history month collection, which was pretty great even if I did miss Zatanna ๐
I wasnโt really aware of it in the 80s but John Brynes work was really ubiquitous in that era.
He did so Kant many images I associated with comics from when I was growing up.
Kurt Vander, evasion tank ๐๐๐
Come at this guy, you best not miss ๐
Hoping youโll be at Boston Fan Expo this summer ๐
๐๐๐
Iโm all good with the extended Chocobo tycoon sidequest remaining a fond memory ๐
Your place has great looking pepperoni pizza. Does it taste as good as it looks?
What pepperoni pizza should be like ๐
I never would have thought of Kaley Cuoco as Harley, but itโs really a perfect fit.
I love Lake Bells take on Ivy too ๐ฏ
I think a journalist has to be fair and accurate. A content creator has be entertaining.
Theyโre not mutually exclusive but theyโre not graded on the same things generally.
Oh yeah heโs the same character. Itโs just that heโs constantly reinvented.
I think DC does this really well; big part of how theyโre been in business almost 100 years.
Iโve never been a huge fan of late 80s-
Mid 90s Batman.
I think Millers darker style kind of got overdone a bit. The Killing Joke is really the one Alan Moore story Iโve got no use for.
Arkham Asylum was a rare exception. Maybe the first Grant Morrison that I read?
The iterative nature of DC Comics has been on my mind lately.
Take Batman. Iโm old enough to remember the campy Adam West version, and Frank Miller helping to change comics forever with Dark Knight Returns.
Same character, but completely different interpretations.
Ivy humorously using her vines on people always cracks me up in this show ๐
This show really is pretty enjoyable.
I would recommend it to any Harley/Ivy/Batman/ DC fans

Thereโs a scene in the pilot of the Harley tv show where Ivy keeps tying Harley up with vines so she wonโt run off to look for the Joker ๐
As a longtime Ivy fan I felt seen. It was pretty funny ๐
This story arc ran in Y2K.
Harley was still Joker's sidekick and girlfriend back then (The red and black Harlequin costume was a mainstay of that era).
It was often inferred that Harley and Ivy had a special relationship long before DC made them a couple, if I'm remembering correctly.
I read a lot of Wonder Woman a few months back, and one of my favorite stories was the Gods of Arkham arc (WW 164-167)
The Children of Aries-- perennial heavy hitters from Diana's rogue's gallery-- possessed several of Batman's heavies, giving us Poison Ivy as Eris AKA Strife.
It was solid fun.
Someone is living their best life ๐
That reminds me, hope @drifters.bsky.social has been well since we last spoke ๐
Would buy all 15 variant covers of this comic ๐๐๐
I love getting a still moment for myself.
Taking a deep breath, sipping a coffee and relaxing for a beat before [checks notes] paying my bills ๐
