My last shift was yesterday. I helped a woman print the documents she needed to do her taxes via google translate. She would say what she needed into her phone then hold it for me to read, then I'd respond into my phone for her to read. We got it done.

Right!?! I know they've gotten better, but it still feels like... a lot. They have just nose ones, but apparently I'm a nighttime mouth breather, so I have to have the full one.

I'm so sorry. The substitute thing was going to be perfect for me. Get to set my own schedule, still have plenty of time to make art, get to hang out in libraries. It just sucks.
