If it wasn't for the fact that my entire desk is cleaned off to make room for my markers (finishing those coasters), I'd make an art piece with my OCs to celebrate.

I dont know how to tell people this, but....
In a way...

HE'S AN ACTOR.

Even if he WAS caring about people, we'd never know at this point in time.

We know too little about him to ACTUALLY read him well.
We can assume and infer, but that's it!
We dont understand his mind fully yet.

The fact that I've seen some Alastor fans turn into apologists and defenders urks me sometimes.

This man is FUCKED in the head, and I want to see him make others suffer before hopefully suffering, himself.

...I'm starting to realize there's a clear pattern on how I enjoy my characters (OCs or not)

I like character growth and healing...it's my life blood....
But in CANON, I want to see this man be an actual PROPER threat.

I also fully acknowledge there is a VERY good chance he IS and WILL BE manipulating Charlie for personal gain or entertainment.

My thoughts, and this is coming from an "Alastor Fangirl":

I LOVE exploring Alastor redemption arcs (not heaven, sorry man...you ain't getting there) and other similar things in my fan stories and AUs

BUT!
I would be absolutely LIVID if they take that route BEFORE making him a proper threat first

I also know how I can be sometimes...
Motivation wavers here and there, and I'd hate for people to have to wait a bit for me to get my head back in the game...

So yeah, i need more opinions...

Well, I'd have to REALLY get everything settled and going first, then...
With a comic, I have a bit more freedom since it's only me.
But if I involve others, like I'd have to of it's animatic series, there's other people waiting and needing direction.
