I start with writing the idea down and brainstorming, then a quick sketch followed by gray boxing.
I dont wanna spend to much time sketching since i think the level is gonna change så much anyway.
Later i will do a art pass and new sketches.

The 3d is better, but also the 2d could have had some lighting giving it more mood. So its a bit unfair to compare.
