my own grandma has accidentally called me my mom's name, same with folks in our neighborhood. we had the same health teacher when we were both in high school and he called me by her name, and guys at the car shop did the same thing today since we both have the same kind of car

throughout my life, people who know both my mom and me end up calling me by her name because we look so similar and it brings me a lot of joy

1/ the hearing was today and the respondent's attorney advised they were a special appearance attorney and had not formally been retained yet. it was difficult to hear from their microphone, but it sounded like they said they were only asked today to appear for the respondent,

7/ thank you to everyone who has supported me while this has been going on. my lawyer is regularly incredulous at the new pieces of evidence I send to him so often.

6/ all I will say is that it is a very interesting strategy to witness and I suspect that the judge from today might agree with me

5/ the temporary restraining order remains in effect until the continued date of May 7th. this person is not to contact me, post about me, contact others about me, incite harassment, seek to obtain my address or location, or do anything to disturb my peace. if you are contacted, please let me know.

4/ citing "prejudice," seemingly based on the judge's clear irritation in dealing with the respondent's attorney.

3/ the judge became visibly annoyed by these requests and asked the attorney to repeat himself, and denied the two requested continuances. one continuance for May 7th was granted according to schedules, and the respondent's attorney requested a new judge for the continued date set for May 7th

2/ and from the judge repeating what they were saying it sounded like they were asking for two continuations - one in either 30 or 60 days for them to be formally retained as the respondent's attorney, and another 30 or 60 days after that for them to have adequate time to review our documents.
