So it is possible that only 2 people died and the rest survived. We don’t know which 2 died. Maybe some of the characters who seemed to have died will actually turn up in a later season

Some thoughts on the ending of White Lotus S3: 6 people got shot but there were only 2 coffins, and we don’t know who was in them. Also we never got to see the face of the body that was in the water in episode 1
