Did not plan on reading a 88,000+ word series today. Still has 2 chapters to be posted no less, but I'm okay with that. Got to the end of the posted chapters right when I needed to break off to start winding down for bed.

And that doesn't touch on *quantity*. They would be going through so much food.
This isn't the first time she's fallen off the bed but it was definitely the most dramatic 😅
Gotta say nobody enjoyed it and Kenna remains disgruntled. I think it's time we call it good enough on the night's sleep and get up for breakfast.
The other funny part about this is they both ran for it, but Tavi, normally my anxious little bean who may well have spent a week convinced the bedroom was haunted, was the first back in bed and sound asleep again in minutes.
Kenna laying next to me in bed (pointedly on the opposite side of where she fell off) while I have a laptop open. She looks like she's both sleepy and frowning and not relaxed.
Here we see Kenna's expression after falling off the bed at what felt like 5:40 a.m. in exactly the wrong spot and thus hit a piece of furniture and caused a large framed art print to come crashing down almost on top of her.
Happily, I have sewer service again. Bonus: I had the foresight to order groceries right after I called the plumber because I'm exhausted from doing virtually nothing and am not going anywhere. Still have to clean the basement though.

It's still a work in progress and there'll be the basement floor to clean after they leave. Definitely not what I was planning for today
