I hope you'll somehow manage to get better. I know exactly what you mean – care staff in Germany don't get that much but I also resent ruining my health this way. I get nothing at all and have to pay my own health insurance which seems grossly unfair

Die meisten Heime haben keine Wartelisten mehr. Man muss halt ständig anrufen
Auf der Liste der Alzheimer-Gesellschaft stehen insgesamt etwa 150 Heime – da eine gute Auswahl zu treffen und die sich dann alle anzuschauen, ist ein ziemlicher Aufwand
Ich hatte bisher genau ein Heim, wo man sofort sagte "überhaupt kein Problem" und vier, wo man meinte, das kriege man schon irgendwie hin. Das erste wäre eigentlich mein Wunschheim, aber da kann es natürlich ewig dauern

Ich arbeite mich durch die Liste von der Alzheimer-Gesellschaft durch, aber im Ostteil der Stadt hatte ich bisher den größten Anteil von blöden Aussagen über Sprachkenntnisse. In Kreuzberg und Charlottenburg ist es besser; Steglitz/Zehlendorf habe ich noch nicht systematisch probiert
