I knew you would. Some myths of vinyl warlords are grossly overrated. My collection was vastly superior to his at that time. His was all about The Pogues and my Bowie collection shrank considerably (for example). I had to replace a number of first press albums (where possible) and was not happy. 😬

What a complete bastard. I had numerous records stolen from me by a famous DJ person I used to share a flat with. Some were stolen outright and some singles were swapped for his shitty, poorly looked after versions which he stuck inside my pristine covers. I actually caught him red-handed. 🙄
