It wasn’t my original idea, but I agree with whomever said that publishing is absolutely backwards. Paperback should come out first, and then if the book is really popular, they should publish a special hardback.

For The First Time In Over A Decade, No Star Trek TV Is In Production Or Greenlit The streaming era began with the announcement of 'Star Trek: Discovery' in November 2015.

I think with P+/Skydance business stuff the way it is plus Alex's contract ending in 2026, it's impossible to even guess. (And I was never a producer at a high enough level for THIS kind of thing.) My hope is that they will give it 2 more seasons while they figure out their plan. Pipe dream? Maybe.

It comes down to personal taste. I can't speak to ratings and what other people like; one person's hit is another person's miss.

I want Starfleet Academy to get a multiple season renewal, and I'd like more Trek on TV... to me, that's the best Trek. TV Trek.

I can tell you as an overweight white woman that during the one period of my life when I was able to lose a lot of weight (which was daily & intense hard work both mentally and physically), I was absolutely treated better, especially at my job. Like... a lot better.
