If you're willing to share an indigenous grappling style from outside the US too I'd love to hear that too!!! I myself have been trying to find out information on Taino grappling because of my Puerto Rican background but no one's been able to really give me an answer unfortunately.

The only thing I really know about Native American wrestling styles is they had a very clear impact on what Americans call "Folkstyle" (as opposed to Greco-Roman and Catch). But I don't know the names, rules, or individual techniques of the styles that influenced Folkstyle.

Been meaning to ask for a bit but would any indigenous furries know of any grappling/wrestling sports from their culture they'd be willing to talk to me about? I'm veryinterested learning about the different ways people wrestle around the world.
