π Welcome to the Public Domain, FIDDLING AROUND (1930)! ππΆπ»
π¬ The star looks a little odd because this is the first Mickey cartoon not animated by Ub Iwerks. It's also the first Mickey released by Columbia Pictures.

It's just youthful hijinks! Who amongst us has not sat shirtless for hours in a skeezy Croatian tattoo parlour getting one of the most well-known symbols of the most notorious unit of the most notorious genocidal regime in history needled onto our chests?
Then we don't have any issues π
Will it stop me eating lactose when I'm intolerant?
Ah yes, radio bulletins, remember those? Probably not, because they haven't existed outside of wartime dramas for about fifty years.
As someone once said:
> It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt.
I'd like to say to these people, and this comes from a genuine place of a lesson I myself had to learn:
It is all right to have these sorts of thoughts. But they're inside thoughts.
You need a tortoise translation bot
I always use them β and I mean always β over a double dash.
βIβve got a couple dozen hostile and extremely large individuals impeding an officerβI need as many agents as you can send me, now!β said Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Ken Fischer
Wales? Is it Wales? (I know where you mean though π)
How much for making an observatory instead? I hear NM gets clear skies
In the last 4 days one of my senators broke a Marineβs arm, the other one announced he wasnβt running minutes before the filing deadline so his hand-picked successor could take his place without a primary and my rep announced he was giving up his seat as well.
Howβs yβallβs congresspeople doing?
A frigate with a crew of fewer than 200 is barely a "warship". The vast majority of that crew were cooks, deckhands, engineers to keep the turbines going. And to leave wounded survivors floating in open water violates the actual and moral law of the sea. You at least call for help for them.
This feels very much in line with ICE's abuses of the laws of hospitality (eating a meal in a place and then kidnapping the staff) and using children to lure in parents, murdering observers, etc. A real abdication of very basic moral codes.
Thereβs also the added bonus of being a cool rebel in the face of fascism by being sex and kink positive. So I got that going for me.
I LOVE THEM!
The new Gorillaz cartoon is really quite beautiful www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucRu...
Just in case you missed it, I have a new horror novel out on the 24th! Distract yourself from the horrors with smaller, more controllable horrors?

Enoch is a strong first name for a tech bro
This is not meant as a call out, but I do want to pull this out because I have seen this expressed way too many times.
This is good old-fashioned ignorance mixed with a little bit of presumption. Anyone who uses this talking point simply does not understand what the modern car market looks like.
No need to Um and Ur about it...
So theyβve made idiot machines programmed never to say βI donβt knowβ or even acknowledge that an answer might not be known, but trot out confabulations with the mendacious confidence of their human creators.
They all do this. And it feels like a reflection on the humans behind them, whose inflated careers are built on never admitting they donβt know the answer. The βsmartest people in the roomβ if βsmartβ just means glib and facile, turning out lies with complete conviction.
"I apologize for this; I was attempting to visualize what a search result should look like based on the data I believed I had"
setting aside the programmed misleading use of first person, THIS IS WHAT IT ALWAYS DOES
Have you tried on sci-fi.stackexchange.com ? They're pretty sharp over there.
