Yeah like even at first I was like mhh i don't like this because 1 was perfect on its own and a sequel is very unnecessary but it was so great that I'll give it a shot. And idk it wasn't bad, but just really really uninspired at every level. Every mechanic carries on from 1 but way more boring
It's kinda funny after doing a Hellblade fanart just finishing Hellblade 2 because I didn't dislike it but has to be one of the most uninspired and downgraded sequels I've seen in my life if not the most. It did leave me quite cold, and it's a shame because I hold the first one very dear to my heart

I do like that Ghosts is about how all of Latin America agrees to destroy the US and BO2 is about how Cuba becomes some technobullshit regime that does attacks on American soil. Really overdoing the whole victim complex crybully thing without a shred of shame
I have zero doubts about it. I'm just joking about it. Been known for a while that COD has ties to the American army. I vaguely remember being a teen when Ghosts came out and they had some weird homage to these US soldierguy types in some conference and in Spain we made fun of it.
they for real made a subgame with the idea "what's worse than a nazi, oh yeah a nazi zombie" which was really boring to play but the story of how the zombie world came to be is so balls to the wall that at some point it circles around itself and becomes parody
Call of duty should separate itself from the whole American exceptionalism thing and concentrate on the hyporborean lore bullshit of the zombies because I struggle to find a piece of worldbuilding more deliciously deranged
I feel like a madwoman for remembering this because why did I even play it but the campaign in Battlefield 3 back in 2011 when I was a teen was about Americans going to the Middle™ East™ and they find nukes but everyone is like these can't be nukes we like totally didn't expect nukes
