My first bird embroidery - my own design - it is like transferring my creativity into another way of expressing myself. I didn’t think I’d become so addicted so quickly with this! I’m beginning to wonder when I’m ever going to pick up a paint brush again! 🤔

There were big clouds on my walk this morning, I didn’t even notice the pathway through them until I looked back at the pictures - I wonder where it was leading to? 🤔

My painting has stopped a bit because I now have a new obsession - embroidery!! Free style! I’m using the coloured cotton thread like paint! And I’m getting very carried away!!

What’s up asks Bluesky? Well I’m fed up with the rain - that’s what! I had a great beach day yesterday, walking part of the SW coast path for a few hours with a friend … although the sunny morning had resorted to cloud by then!

I sold my first limited edition print of my whale painting today - I think prints might be the answer! I’ve always preferred to sell originals but then I’d miss them as they’re so ‘part of me’ - does anyone else get so attached to their own artwork?

I’m lucky enough at the moment to be gaining the trust of a wild wren (live mealworms help) - this is not the sharpest picture, but the intricate b/w checkered feathers on his wing - I’ve never been this close to a wren to notice that & my 100mm macro lens is helping greatly! #wren #birdphotography
