Exactly.

Do your job Albo, and stop pointing fingers.
You're no better than the Liberals. 😑

At first, I remembered Naomi Klein, and then reset to Naomi Wolf … who is another misguided soul.

Poor Naomi Klein; forever her doppleganger is Naomi Wolf.
(Great book btw: Doppleganger, by N Klein - not N Wolf πŸ˜…)

Can someone remind me which foreign head-of-state actively engaged in a genocide Jacinda Ardern invited to NZ in order to heal the Muslim community after 51 people were slaughtered in a Mosque in a terror attack perpetrated by an Australian white supremacist?

Phew! Thank goodness there are no Canadians, but apparently, there are Candians serving in the IDF.
I wonder what the country of Canda is like. 🫣

The legacy parties, aka the duopoly, are afraid of protest power & people power.
Bring it on #GreensAustralia. Get these draconian anti-protest laws repealed.

If any of our elected leaders had an ounce of the morals and values Grace Tame has, they'd all be giving Herzog a 'side eye', not a f'ng handshake and smile.

I went to a cannabis shop in Canada with a friend to buy cannabis meds for anxiety and insomnia. It was wonderful to witness how easy getting medical cannabis can be.
I have many relatives with chronic illness and pain in Canada who've been accessing cannabis with ease for years.
C'mon Australia!

I sadly was expecting it.
Similar to the weapons expo protest, the NSW government (i.e. Minns) was hellbent on protecting his views, and his special (genocidal) guest event, so he allowed excessive force, aka police brutality.

Where I was, the majority of people were over 60 yo. WTF!!

I'm glad I went early too. Didn't experience the cop intimidation at TH station.
I hung back as the crowd dispersed & made it safely home. But I witnessed the dirty expression on cops faces, cop lines boxing us in, mounted police pushing into the crowd, pepper sprayed victims.

Industries Minister Colin Brooks

"The Jewish community […] still mourning & grieving, & for their head of state to come here […] is highly appropriate," he said.

FOR THEIR HEAD OF STATE ???
Victorian minister concurs that the Australian Jewish community's head of state is the Israeli president!

The Zionist lobby, antisemitism and Herzog Australia’s political and media response to Gaza, including the invitation to Israel’s president, reflects the influence of pro-Israel lobbying and the shrinking space for lawful criticism.

Probably the best article I've read on the Gaza genocide and Australian Jewish lobby to date.
How ironic it is that Herzog arrives in Australia on the 2 year anniversary of his bomb signing.

I am Google and Meta free, and soon to be Microsoft free. I can do everything I could before, but with much more privacy.

For sure surveillance advertising, but likely AI training too, cause everything is getting scraped.

Trump fills the great Albo silence Australia’s leaders are trying to avoid becoming a target in a harsher, more coercive world. But silence and caution can’t substitute for strategy – or for honest leadership that levels with the public.

Australia’s leaders seem to be hoping the safest Trump-era strategy is to keep our heads down and say as little as possible. Jack Waterford argues that silence isn’t strategy – and that Australians deserve clarity about risk, alliances and what comes next.
