When I worked at Halfords they put most tools in locked cabinets and the rest with security tags so you couldn't take them off the hooks.
We got so much grief because customers had to ask us to get them for them.
My local supermarket now puts empty boxes of certain alcoholic lines as a security measure.
My OH, who works there, just mentioned it to a customer, who exclaimed "That's a load of rubbish!" and *threw* the empty box back on the shelf.
I say it every week when looking at new music, but there's some cracking stuff out there right now.

One thing that I love about the #Gladiators reboot: they don't waste time explaining how the rounds work - you just know.
Nice to have a TV series that values viewers this way.
