Douglas shouts "WHAT?!" in disbelief, while Alden asks about the beers: "Are those cold?" "Duh, a'course." she replies. Panel two: Douglas, "Angi, you can't just - wait - are we dead?" Panel three: Alden, in the background grabbing himself a drink, "Oh sweet." Angi replying to Douglas, "Nawwwwwwr~ well, maybe." Panel four: Douglas has knelt down in front of Angi, gently taking her shoulders and looking a little panicked. "Does it matter?" Angi asks. "YES?!" says Douglas.

Page three. Panel one: We see Douglas' face, where Angi has held up a beer for him and says, "Have a drink Douglas, chill out." Panel two: the camera has backed out to see the little house they're all on front of. Angi points to the ground in front of her and tells Douglas, "C'mon, park it." While Alden, beer in hand, closes the cooler to sit on it. Panel three: camera behind the three characters relaxing into the space looking out on the outback before them. An orange glow takes over the otherwise black and white comic. Angi leans forward to put her arms over Douglas' shoulders. Douglas says: "Huh. Damn, it's beautiful." Angi replies, "It sure is."

Page four. Panel one: Alden takes a drink, and Douglas looks a little shocked at his revelation. "...I'm so... tired." "I know." Angi replies. Panel two: a shot of the grasses and trees. Angi continues, "Maybe it's time for a break!" Douglas replies, "A break? When there's the Hungry Army? And the Frost Dagger lodged in the Eye of the Moon, and---" Panel three: zoomed in to their faces, Angi looks down to Douglas and him back at her. She interrupts him, "There's always going to be some demon lord, forsaken weapon or some other thing! You can't keep doing everything yourself."

Because I have no chill, I treated myself to some really old OC's when I was done with the latest issue of WOLF. It... wasnt meant to be this long lol (1 of 2)

Panel two: We turn to Alden, Douglas asking him, "...what do you think, Alden?" he replies, "Oh what - maybe not chase your ass interdimensionally to keep you from beefing it?" Panel three: Alden leans over comically, continuing, "Perish the thought!" While Douglas looks disgruntled at being made fun of, Angi has a good chuckle about it. Panel four: Angi pets Douglas' head, fixing his hair while he seems to resign himself. "Ugh - I guess." he says.

Page six. Panel one: Douglas leans back and takes a big drink from the can. The camera pulls further out still, enjoying the orange sky. Douglas asks, "So... what do we do now?" Angi jokes, "Rest, eat snacks, learn to knit!" "Hmm" murmurs Douglas. Angi finishes, "And when the world needs us again - Well, we'll be right here for 'em."
