And in Canada, we don't declare a party affiliation when we register to vote. We're allowed to change our minds, so it's not relevant.

Perhaps learn about Canada's system of government and population distribution before making such a claim. The mid-western provinces have a combined population less than the province of Quebec, and we have a multi-party system that allows people a voice in the middle of the political spectrum.
