So it basically becomes a "lets see how i can adapt to the needs of the person." Splatoon itself has gotten boring for me but the interpersonal skills needed for teaching/coaching is still really fun for me and is something i try to develop to better my coaching. Has like a looping effect lol

Nah the feeling of improvement through learning/challenging said knowledge is a huge motivational push for me in general

This is the primary reason why I stopped caring about following comp. It feels like there are only pickups, and it's so painfully uninteresting bc the match quality doesn't make up for it

Facts tbh. I really hope for it. That and a SR overhaul in the style of Left 4 Dead. Youre traveling across sections of a large map per wave, to reach the rescue chopper or smth and there could be roguelike elements w buffs and such instead of just being assigned one of 4 weapons and thats it lol

In this scenario though im honestly fine with paid expansions on top of it, provided they are fully fleshed out experiences. I've wanted a portal 2-esque co-op campaign for years now for ex. Id def pay like $20 for it

I was a huge proponent of option 2 for years, provided the really lean on the live service aspect in terms of cosmetics and frequent content updates, but seeing what they're doing for the switch 2 already has me shaken LOL
