A Muscovy Duck duckling gets tossed around by five American White Pelicans. The little duckling has its wings and feet splayed out, and a terrified look on its face.

A Muscovy Duck duckling looks terrified as it's tossed into/out of the giant maw of a pelican. The little guy ended up OK.

So this happened the other day. I saw several American White Pelicans catch and toss around a Muscovy Duck duckling. I thought they wanted to eat it, but they seemed more curious and all took turns holding it in their mouths and toying with it. The little guy got away and reunited with its mom. 🪶

another thing i see a lot of artists do are 'digital sketchbooks' but I..... simply don't draw enough for something like that 😭 and a lot of the art i don't finish/post are things I can't post anyways.

I think your odds of getting bladder cancer are probably higher than anything happening to you in a LA public restroom. Might be worthwhile to carry pepper spray if you don't already, and stick to restrooms in businesses / con centers, and there's a good chance no one will bother you.

That's completely understandable! I was honestly terrified when i first started using the men's but i guess my anxiety has improved after 5+ years of not getting so much as even a glance. I've also witnessed a decent number of presumably cis guys going into the stalls to piss, so, doubt-

For trans reasons? ymmv (i'm white passing and skinny) but I haven't had any issues in men's restrooms, even before fully "passing" while I was working in Oklahoma. I was really worried about it at first but I've found that most people don't care very much, esp not in socal
