My much awaited copy of Fungi of Kangaroo Island (and beyond) by Pam & David Catcheside finally arrived and it is BEAUTIFUL. Instant new favourite!
Canβt wait to read through it at more leisure!
It reminds me a bit of a Yiume design
@thebeachcomber.bsky.social you have a fan! Whereβd you get your shirt/jacket?
Featuring two indefatigable poster holders
A brown poster with lots of pictures of field mushrooms is being held up by two tall people while I squat/wall sit beside it and gesture to it
Showed off the poster I put together for IMC12 with my preliminary Australasian Agaricus phylogeny at the latest Cornstar lab meeting.
Naturally show and tell evolved into whiteboard diagrams on the differences between Ascomycota and Basidiomycota. I love how keen everyone is to learn about fungi!
Thank you for following me! π We can talk scicomm together! Iβm going to have to try to post more here than I did on the platform that shall not be named
