Gentilly bird update: either the owl couple or hawk family was feeling the need to share the wealth (holidays, I guess!) and left the back half of the biggest rat I’ve ever seen in my life in my backyard. The fully digested front half was found on our vehicle hood.

Yall. We got bird drama in my Gentilly oak trees. There’s a huge hawk mama and daddy trying to protect their nest while being harassed by a murder of crows. And they are so loud the owl is now hooting at them to shut up. Idk what to do.
