I moved from Substack to Ghost with one of my newsletters (the one in bio), but then saw pretty much every trans creator stay on Substack (so, just like what happened with X), and I lost all discoverability, as just another website on Google. Would be interested to hear how Beehiiv does.

I've just been told that the only work I've truly cared about on an emotional level is going to be phased out, starting with this summer. I may keep the rest of it for a bit longer, but that particular part which is ending is probably the only 11.5-year freelance job I'll ever have. In shock.

Bloody hell, that's the first time I've been threatened by hostile neighbours while recording my podcast. The edit might just end up as several cuts of me looking very scared at the camera while @georgiesends.bsky.social talks about Pascal Wehrlein.

It feels like I'm being given the opportunity to move forward with life at the moment. I think I'd sacrificed my social life for transition and for work in 24-25. Now I have a simracing community who wants my help, I'm making content and writing again. We all need to connect with others somehow.
