it could've been a good opportunity for people to understand this terrible disease better, but it just got sidelined like usual. even when it's a central part of the story, it remains largely unspoken.
any mention of what she's going through is labeled under the vague "Long COVID" umbrella that doesn't really tell you enough.
it was ME/CFS that left her bedbound for years, but there's barely any mention of it. it feels incomplete in a painful way.
I was reading about Physics Girl's "return" (a new video that makes everyone talk like she's been cured or smth), and I'm def happy that she could get to a point where this was possible.
there is one thing about the more mainstream coverage of it that bothers me, though...
Hadn't seen mori post in a few days, but i'm thinking they are in the midst of a flare up with low energy and can't advocate for themselves rn.
Please help them out. They are chronically ill and bedbound and #mutualaid literally helps keep them alive.
