Last 72h to submit your symposium tutorial proposal

Tutorials last 3 hours (with a short break) and include 1–6 presenters. Note: if fewer than 10 participants register, the tutorial may be cancelled in advance.

Tutorials help researchers learn about unfamiliar topics. Presenters must cover subjects educationally to spark discussion, debate, and audience interaction. Strong emphasis is placed on teaching quality, audience engagement, and presenter expertise.

Proposals uniting diverse methods around shared questions are especially valued. Symposia last 2 hours and must include 4 speakers.

Symposia address key themes in consciousness science of broad interest. Selection factors include timeliness, presentation complementarity, methodological interdisciplinarity, scientific relevance, and panel diversity. Intellectual and demographic inclusiveness are essential.

Call for symposia and tutorials is out.

Submissions must be made through the online submission portal and received by 23:59 (Pacific Time) on Monday, December 8, 2025 (final deadline!).
