The NBF Expo took place within GO!RN, one of the largest entrepreneurship and innovation events in Brazil, with more than 10,000 attendees and our amazing ambassadors, Julia Apolonio, Gleison Azevedo and João Cavalcante were there to support us every step of the way!

Nextflow has been a hot topic at the forum for the past two editions, and the excitement just keeps growing. It’s always fun when someone says, “Marcel, you’ve got to tell my friend/boss/students about Nextflow!”
The Natal Bioinformatics Forum isn’t a huge event. It consists of 100 to 150 attendees, but the audience is incredible! Principal investigators, senior researchers from around the world, and some rockstar students make it truly priceless to be there.
This edition kicked off with a series of ELIXIR trainings. I had the chance to attend the Train-the-Trainer Course and the Training Material: FAIR by Design & Hackathon, alongside fantastic folks from VIB and Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB).
What a wonderful week! 🤩
This was the third edition of this biannual event, my third time attending it, and it’s amazing to see how it keeps getting better every time.
