I made Italian beef sandwiches for dinner today… they were a hit. The beef turned out sooooooo good. I had been craving one for a long time and there’s just no good places to get them here… took it upon myself and it seems like they are gonna be a regular in the roatation.

That’s the hard part… I KNOW that June has issues with food, we work hard with her on it. At the same time, grace needs to be given and she can’t be expected to act like an adult at 8 years old. I should be able to expect a 70 year old to act like an adult though… sheesh.

They are spinning off my division at work and hiring for a director level position. It’s a good thing and has been needed for a while. I emailed the company President some of my concerns and the importance of hiring the right person. I got back a thoughtful response. I’m happy.

That whole team is built really well. They lost some pieces this year, will be interesting to see how they compete. Hoping my Astros will be back in the fight this year. SO MANY INJURIES. I told Wallace when we went to the game last year I wouldn’t be surprised if they won it all… Stupid Dodgers.
