Why does federal funding matter?

πŸ’Š National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding contributed to all of the 210 drugs approved between 2010 and 2016.

πŸ’΅ For every $1 invested into NIH-funded research, an estimated $2.5 dollars are generated in economic activity.
