In the Legends World he was Big Convoy's father. He fell protecting his son from the Blendtrons. He bequeathed him his left arm and told him that being a Convoy was not something bestowed upon a bot, but earned.

Blue Big Convoy
He was originally a Lucky Draw item that Takara turned into a Legends release. He exists in two continuities. In the Precursor world he was the leader of the Blue Order and member of the Primus Vanguard who was betrayed to his death by the Straxuses.

Big Convoy is not as successful as Magmatron in capturing rhe majesty of the original toy but it does give us a show accurate, scaled version of a character who has never had a western release before. I really hope we get more characters from the show.

He lacks the chrome and clear plastic that was most noticeable on his chest but this version still opens to reveal a removeable matrix. Big Convoy was the first figure to have a removeable matrix after all.

Big Convoy was packed with gimmicks and this toy replicates them as best it can with modern technology. The Mammoth Hakkens are no longer spring loaded but much smaller accessories. The tonfas still flip out from his underarms to be used as close combat weapons.

Another new #BeastWars update. This figure has a lot to live up to given the high quality and historical significance of the original toy, especially as Magmatron was an improvement over the original, no mean feat!
