Representative tendon shear modulus and viscosity heat maps and histograms. The red curves represent kernel density estimates (as described in Equation 2), and the red arrows indicate peak values derived from these kernel distributions, showing data from a participant with unilateral Achilles tendinopathy.
Gabriella L. Dunay & coauthors found that analysis of regional heterogeneity improves sensitivity of ultrasound shear-wave elastography to changes with Achilles tendinopathy. Read more in JOR: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...
BBA Day of Giving. Support Black Scientists. Donate with PayPal.
It's #GivingTuesday!β€οΈ
Please consider donating: bit.ly/giveBBA
All donations support the amazing programs and events BBA offers year round for underrepresented scientists. Together we can make biomechanics more inclusive and accessible!π
