Five years ago Gray stole a magic stone from the shadow-infested ruins of Sangarie. Now the elf who fought beside him has returned to warn him of the impending catastrophe–and to make sure the future happens as it should. Time is running out and the city seems doomed, but Gray is a thief and a cheat, and if anyone can trick fate, he can.
