Yesterday we announced our debut album, Solitude Over Control. It was another important milestone as it also marked the one year anniversary of the release of DIY EXORCISM, which felt like a huge amazing turning point for us as a band.

We’ve chosen today, June 28th, to make this announcement as our own little way of honouring our community elders who kickstarted the modern LGBTQIA+ rights movement in 1969 with the Stonewall riots.
Solitude Over Control was mixed by our very own Luna Frighthouse and mastered by the legendary James Plotkin.
We’re overjoyed to finally announce that we’ll be releasing our debut album, Solitude Over Control, on September 26th 2025! It will be available digitally and on vinyl via our wonderful label Lay Bare Recordings 🖤

My Body is a Crime Scene was mixed by our very own Luna Frighthouse and mastered by the legendary James Plotkin.
The vocalist describes the lessons she learned about why abusers do what they do, and directly confronts perpetrators of abuse and everyone complicit in silencing victims. The lyrics are a modern take on the ‘cautionary tales’ women used to tell to keep one another safe from predators and abusers.
It’s an unapologetically feminist song that criticises the power structures and culture of silence that enable abuse. It describes how physical touch is used by abusers as a weapon of control, rather than something they ‘can’t help’.
