No worries! Take care of yourself! I can relate a whole ton. Draw for yourself for a time. Social media can see that at times. It's good to just focus up on yourself and how you feel with art. Wishing you all the best man.
take a break! seriously - don't keep pushing if you feel like you are struggling to draw a circle. you definitely didn't lose your art ability. it happens
as my mentor always told me- it also just means you care a lot! so that hyper critical nature is good if you channel it into good energy! you'll improve quickly! Try and keep art as something fun, easier said than done, but it'll really help the sloggy days

I get it- I've definitely gone through that and still struggle to this day with similar struggles. You're doing great! There will always be good days and bad days, just know art is very much a lifetime experience and how you're feeling now may not be permanent in the long run!
the odds are stacked against you especially with working a 9-5 and not being at home. The best advice I can offer is trying to balance out the rest of your life. Overall Health will help you feel more energized. The rest is just sacrifice and small incremental gains. Wishing you the best!

Here's a question for ya'll: Why do you draw? what keeps you drawing? It is some obsession? a character? a concept you want to do?
ooo I really enjoy CSP! It's a great application imo, definitely not perfect, but I enjoy all the tools it has. I rely on a lot of the quality of life things which is why I probably struggle with procreate so much π
uhhhhhh saturation is a thing. Trying not to lean into black all the time now and focus on grey + actual colors

ahhh okay okay! just curious as I haven't found a comfortable way to use procreate? could've been the brushes I was using weren't working for me.
I mainly use CSP, but swap to procreate when i'm not home haha
