Hey, so...I just got laid off from my job.
To be honest, it hurts more than anything has ever hurt in my entire life. It is by far my favorite job I have ever had, and I was laid off by complete bad luck.

Berdly’s deluge of information includes information from Starmen.net, the official guide, and the Japanese game manual pages for the characters. It is just visible that Berdlys name has been written as Ness’, and Kris’ name has been written in for Poo (with incorrect kana).The Starmen.net walkthrough sections have been edited to emphasize that the sword of kings is rare, only found in one place, for a 1/128 drop rate, and the only weapon Poo can use in the game. Along with the information are Deltarune style text boxes, which begin near berdly, and are then read counter clockwise because it looks good. They read: There's this. One kid at school. You are NOT friends. Obviously. But nobody else had even heard of this game. It took you HOURS. Only one place. One enemy. 1/128 drop rate. Every time you almost gave up, you thought of the look their face. The odds that they’ll actually be impressed are demonstrably quite low. Maybe as low as 1/128. You think you can beat those odds.

as i try to get back into Making Art™ i stumbled into practicing digital painting again. this was from a larger practice piece i did, and i wanted to share it, but i was nervous about putting A Photorealistic Representation Of My Whole Face On Line so i cropped it reeeaaal close as a compromise LOL

"To be totally honest there was a part of me really dreading hourly comic day this time around." Puzz sitting down to draw with their tablet, thinking "catchup time..." "I don't wanna get into it too much (esp not here) but tl;dr my day job has gotten way more stressful + i often get home late + burned out + exhausted + still have to cook dinner somehow". Puzz saying to Holly with a smug smile, "I think I drew you TOO sexy here". Holly lunges for the tablet, shouting "SHOW". "Because of that making art has been hard + of course comics specifically are notoriously tough". Holly waves, "okay gmod time good luck with hourlieeeesss", Puzz replies "Have funnnn I looveee youuuu". 8pm. Puzz holding a food package, "ohhh frozen calzone save meee". "I don't know how to fix this but i know comics are too big a part of me not to. i have to indulge in the creative stirrings of my oervert soul somehow." 10pm. Puzz in the shower with their arms out coated in watery dye. 11pm. Puzz in bed sketching furiously. "I just need more hours in the day."

Puzz's 4-6pm hourlies. The first panel, for 4pm, is labeled "UPLOADING HOURLIES" and shows Puzz hunched over their laptop typing. Holly, represented as lounging on her stomach on a speech bubble emerging from the laptop, says "ohhh the sound of typing after all the woodcutting is a balm. like a babbling brook". The next panel, 4:30pm, is labeled "BREAK TIME" and shows a close-up of Puzz - labeled "on IKEA dot com" - smiling placidly and shedding a single tear, thinking "every thing cost so much..." The next panel, 5:30pm, shows Puzz getting up from their computer chair while removing their headphones and picking up their phone, saying, "Okay I really need to do my hair I'm putting you on da phone". Holly, delightedly sitting on the speech bubbles emerging from the phone, replies, "okaaaayyy yay!" A textbox under the panel reads "SURPRISE I'VE BEEN BLONDE ALL DAY LONG". 6PM is represented with 3 panels in a bottom row. The first shows Puzz standing at the sink in boxers, wearing black gloves and covered in hair dye, which is sitting in bottles and a little tub in front of them. Their phone starts ringing with an alarm labeled "IT'S 6PM IDIOT!! (snooze) (lol)"; Puzz, hands in dye-covered gloves, looks over in a panic shouting "OH NO". The next panel shows Puzz's cat Kiki rubbing against their legs while Puzz continues to put in dye; Puzz whimpers "Oh Kiki baby now is not a good time to be weaving around my legs". Kiki simply responds "MAH". The final panel shows Puzz grinning as they wrap part of their hair in tinfoil, saying to Holly over the phone, "Me and the transgender sapphics I pull by being UNDIAGNOSED." Holly replies "...I mean. That's not the ONLY reason," and Puzz interrupts, "Riiight. My fat tits." Holly, audibly wheezing with laughter, retorts, "NO, HON, BECAUSE YOU'RE NICE".

Puzz's 9am hourly page. The first, large panel, labeled "PLANNIN' MY DAY" shows a sleepy Puzz walking with her phone, tablet and water bottle in her arms, while her cat runs by screaming. Puzz makes a list in their mind, "go market, hairdye, laundry, wifetime, misc cleaning". The next panel represents Holly texting Puzz with a little drawing of a happy Holly on a grey textbox popping out of Puzz's phone, which reads, "selfishly i hope some day we're living together when hourly comics day happens so you can draw extremely flattering + sexy drawings of me flopping out of bed". Puzz, delighted, replies "awww yesss". The next panel shows them with a lovestruck smile, hearts all around her, then the next opening their eyes in placid realization. The final panel shows Puzz grinning smugly, saying "hey hon. You wouldn't ask to hang out just to be in hourlies would ya." Holly, offscreen, replies "no, hon. (LOL)"
Puzz's 10am hourly page. The first panel shows Puzz hunched on the floor in a dark cloud, with big text reading "TUMMYACHE. NO SURVIVORS." The next panel shows Puzz suddenly standing back up casually with a tiny fart, saying, "Oh never mind I'm just fine now I guess. Ok time to go out." Her shoes are labeled "FEATURING ERGONOMIC CLOWN SHOES FOR BOYS™". The next series of panels is in sequence below this. The first shows Puzz, wearing a helmet with heart-shaped goggles, walking over to their bicycle with two large shopping bags in hand, saying "la de da gonna drop off old clothes". The next panel shows them with the bags on the ground, going "Hmmmmm" as they stare at the bike, apparently figuring out how to transport the bags by bike. The next panels show them placing both bags on the rear rack, then struggling to secure the bags with hook-and-elastic fasteners. The next panel after that shows the bags all tied up on the rear rack while Puzz, posing proudly, shouts, "THERE WE GO!!" The final panel shows them pedaling off as the bags immediately fall off with a WHUMP.
Puzz's 11am hourly page, with "IT'S MARKET TIME!" written in large block letters along the top of the screen. Various drawings of Puzz show them walking through the farmers market in an implied sequence - first, walking through with a coffee and bagel, then doing a double-take as "A WHOLE ASS PRINCESS???" walks by in the background, then putting a purchase in their bag, then watching a band perform, then walking off with a shopping bag in hand. In the background are various farmers market-goers chatting over coffee, selling their wares, and walking dogs.
Puzz's 12pm hourly page. The first panel, labeled "CORNER STORE", shows them picking up a carton of milk. The next shows them noticing "a whole shelf of screaming chicken toys...?" with visible confusion. The panel after that shows them biking away, then the next, labeled "game store", shows them browsing a display of video games on a shelf. They think to themself, "god damn it no Rumble Roses what's the point of anything", with "Rumble Roses" represented as the game's logo. Below all these is a final borderless panel of Puzz arriving home, flopping down face-first in exhaustion next to her cat. Text below reads "AND THEN I CAUGHT UP ON HOURLIES FOR 4 HOURS WHILE HOLLY PLAYED RUNESCAPE." A tiny Holly on her laptop below this says "i loooove woodcutting".

Puzz's first page of hourly comics, for hourly comics day 2026.
