Illinois has something called the POWER Act which addresses all three by requiring data centers to pay for their own energy and invest in renewable generation, report water usage and work with the communities where they’re built.

I hope more states make the data centers responsible for paying the electric bills and mitigating the noise.

Why are "conservatives" ok with the FBI taking 2020 voting records from a state? When the next Democrat is elected (2028) then they should demand their FBI confiscate any records from states they "think" they should have won. Is this really something that the federal government has a right to?
