When I went to my doctor last week, the nurse asked what year I was born, and without hesitation I said 1874, thinking that was true. Confusion ensued, but I’m happy to report I’m not, in fact, 152 years old.

I got halfway through my first day of the @scbwirockymtn.bsky.social annual writing conference when my sweet piggie princess decided she needed to see the doctor. I’m so sad to miss out on spending time with my fellow writers, learning from the best, but my old fur baby needs some snuggles instead.
