Fox News only hires people who struggle with object permanence

Another possibility is that the war drags on for months, depleting US munitions stockpiles and keeping oil prices high. In that scenario, the primary beneficiaries would be Russia and China. The Russian treasury would be refilled and it would allow China to invade Taiwan in October 2026.

There is only one positive outcome and it is unlikely: a rapid regime change. Without boots on the ground however that is unlikely.
The most likely outcome is that Trump withdraws within a few weeks, leaving the Gulf states in a worse position and damaging US alliances in the globally.

An Iranian drone exploded within shockwave distance of my godson in Erbil, who is four years old, and he cannot stop breaking down crying randomly now and isn't really eating.
Just in case you'd bought into the "poor plucky Iran" bullshit. Fuck Trump's war, and fuck the IRGC.
That is because you didn't know that we have arrived in 1984 ...
She will get a pardon. Otherwise the rest of the Trump regime will run away ...
She will get it. Because if she doesn't then every member of the Trump regime will worry that they will not get it.
Make it cruise very slow. Make it ride very low in the water so that only a few centimeters stick out of the water. Use seawater to cool/heat the outer skin to reduce the IR signature. Make it semi autonomous so that it has no electromagnetic signature.
It will look like debris.
Thank you. We have waited for this for a long time.
Especially since the IRGC has somewhere north of 150K highly trained members ...
I've literally never heard any military talk as much about how they totally aren't running out of munitions and now I'm wondering why they keep harping on it
1984 has arrived ...
But the goal would not be to make money. The goal would be to sow doubt about bank notes.
If it were my president, Iโm not sure what would concern me more: this picture, or the videos of every cabinet member lining up to praise Trump. Regardless of political views, itโs hard for me to understand how anyone could vote for people who behave like that. It is a cult.
Yes - but in an emergency situation that hardly matters. And besides, thereโs nothing stopping a state like Russia from printing large quantities of counterfeit banknotes and literally dropping them from the sky, instantly making cash suspect. For nation-states, producing counterfeit money is easy.
If they had a plan, then they would have reached out to Iranian diplomats, military leaders, etc. before the bombs started falling. Now it just looks desperate ...
You could easily run the payment network offline and just have people buy on credit (even on a debit card). Once connections starts working again then you settle the transactions. They did a test here in Denmark in grocery stores last year and at least here it works.
This just seems stupid. If three hit the same place then it wasn't a mistake. But why would Iran pick a fight with Azerbaijan at this moment? Something doesn't add up.
We will only see that if Europe do face a existential threat (aka Russia) and the US withdraws from Europe. Otherwise we will see even closer cooperation but defense will be national. But perhaps the Nordics could do it ...
It will likely make air defense missiles much cheaper in the long run though ...
It was stupid. It was killing for the sake of being able capture dramatic periscope video for social media. The ship was 2500 km from the warzone and not a threat. The US Navy could easily have forced them to surrender.
A special military operation, if you will.
Doing my daily check in with my family members who are now in an active warzone and realising how lucky I am that this is the first time in my life I've had to do that.
An Irishman, Chris, sings the Ukrainian national anthem by the Russian Embassy in Dublin every day. He has been coming to the embassy since the first day of Russiaโs invasion of Ukraine.

True ... but 12M who do not have military training against 125K highly trained ... the odds are not that good.
That has also been my thought ... the IRGC has 125K members ...
I also do not understand the need to sink the IRNS Dena. It was 2000 km from the war zone and would not have been able to get anywhere near the zone. The US could simply have asked it to surrender. It seems like Hegseth really want to kill people instead of just winning the war.
"In Russia, I will face criminal prosecution because I oppose the war in Ukraine."
A 16-year-old orphan, Timur Turkov, who fled Russia to avoid future mobilization, now faces deportation from Kazakhstan for "illegally crossing the border."
The people: "So ... after all your posturing, all your little speeches, you're nothing but a common thief."
Trump: "I am an exceptional thief."
The people: "Why would we pick exceptional thief for president?"
Trump: "Because, people are stupid."
