Oh man, I went through the exact same thing on 27 Nov. It's so heartbreaking, but as we all know rationally, it's the best thing to do (no more suffering). Hard to be rational at times like this though. A beautiful cat is Pi.

A road descends in looping switchbacks from a high Tibetan pass toward the Himalayan range, and Mount Everest, in the distance. The brown plains contrast with the snow-capped range on the ‘roof of the world’.

#TheRoad to #Everest crosses several high passes in #Tibet, switchbacking laboriously up and down each side. At the Gawu La pass, Everest, with its north-east ridge, is just visible (center horizon with the ‘traditional’ plume from the summit).
