My first challenge: "draw this in your style," featuring Juliorra at one of the difficult but important moments in his story. A slender young man with long dark hair, dressed in elegant yet barely covering clothing. The space around him is entwined with roses on thorny vines, which also barely wrap around him, leaving cuts on his body. On his neck and wrists, you can see finely crafted golden shackles, connected by a thin golden chain stretching in different directions from his neck. Juliorra holds the chain as if he has been trying to untangle it for some time. His face appears calm, but if you look closely, even though he hides it well, you can make out the anger within him

I usually shrink the canvas down and make a grid like this, and do thumbnails to figure out the shapes of the illustration; if it doesn't start coming out the way I want then I find some references and then I mess with it some more at the smaller size until I like it.

I get what you mean, coming from someone from the same country. The psychiatrist here feel more like they are just there, not really offering much comfort or revaluation in the problems I have. It's a bit difficult to really find one that really listens, especially one in a government sector.
