Thanks to American troops and officials, the store grew into a company, exporting first to the US, then worldwide. There are currently two halves of the family, one still at the main plant in Germany, and one (Victoria’s side) in New York at their global office.
Victoria’s paternal family, the Weishaupts, were clockmakers in Germany. After WWII, with most of Berlin in ruins, their little store was one of the few left, and ended up on the US side after the wall was built. They sold clocks and watches to American GIs, slowly building a fortune.
When the East India company shut down, Graves Trading zipped in and grabbed suppliers, particularly silk traders. The company shifted from general goods to mainly textiles, and became one of the largest suppliers, with stores all along the East Coast.
During the 1800s, Valentina’s ancestor cashed out on his stocks in the East India Trading Company, moved to the US, and founded Graves Trading. Using his connections, he managed to get common eastern goods at bulk prices, then resell in America as “exotic imports.”
Another fun fact: despite being the same generation, Victoria is about 5 years older than Valentina! She likes to tease her “little cousin,” much to Valentina’s dismay 🤣🐉🦑
Currently at the Red Cross while my dad gives blood. He had shoulder surgery last month and is still in a sling, so I had to drive.
Anyway, did you know that Valentina and Victoria are related? Victoria’s great grandmother is the sister of Valentina’s great grandfather!
Yea I’ve used it the same. Feels like I use monster girl as a subset of demihuman, referring to demihumans with more beast-type bodies; centaurs, mermaids, lamia, etc.
I recently commed @/NocturnousArt on twitter, and last month they gave me a rough sketch, then vanished. No replies at all. I’ve given up expecting one. I am moving on, and only wish they are in good health.

An artist I commed hasn’t updated to me in over a month. I got a sketch early February and haven’t heard since. I’ve messaged a couple times, asking if they’re alright. I don’t want to come off as pestering or anything, I’m just genuinely worried. Their last X post was on the 22nd. What do I do? 🥺
Cowgirls, aka holstaurs, are descended from ancient minotaurs, the result of generations of crossbreeding with humans.
Some holstaurs though, like Caesar, have a stronger minotaur gene, resulting in them growing much larger than average.
Result: big cow mom 😊💜
Curious if this happens to anyone else:
I can’t handle horror AT ALL. No movies, no games, not even trailers or the dang box art. It gets stuck in my head, makes me all nervous, especially at bedtime with nothing to distract me. Was worse as a kid but I still struggle with it. 🥺
My only experience with prompts was those awful creative writing prompts back in school. Though to be fair, that was more to do with having to handwrite things, and handwriting things is actually painful for me.
I don’t even like using bot teammates in games 🤣
Depression (for me at least) is like a tide. You can spend weeks, even months, sailing happily on a high tide.
Then, one tiny negative comes along, and your tide sings and you’re stuck in a low, and it can be hard to get out. 🥺

Best thing about depression is how a single, random, negative comment can sour what’s been a very pleasant day. I hate social media.

When I was a kid, I had a GBA adapter base attached to my GameCube (still do).
I remember coming home from school or errands, taking Pokemon out of my SP and putting it in there, playing on the big screen, which was probably a 40in LCD. Now I got LeafGreen on my 4k 65in. Wild
Surgery went just fine. I’m in a good bit of pain though but that’s expected. Recovery isn’t instant 💜
All this did inspire me to expand on Odyssia’s (Caesar’s daughter) lore though. Whenever folks asked about her I always said she’s a med student. Decided to make her a full nurse now 💜 🩹
