Reduction of vulgarity in translation is a near-universal finding across all translations that have ever been studied, I believe I mention it briefly. There's only a few studies, most by one academic, that show a maintenance or increase.

Sincere question: why would anyone treat a degree from these institutions as having value after this? How is one able to claim expertise in sociology when they are unable to even identify - say - an association between sexism and unequal outcomes? Is "sexism has no social impact" an A-grade paper?
