It's too soon to say anything for sure but I haven't seen anything personally that makes me think there's an upside.

Part of the reason two-hour Church was a mistake.
:(
That's an easy mistake but fixable with the right leadership attention.
I don't know that this is a general problem. I travel around my stake a lot and our sacrament meetings are excellent.
Happily not all rumors come to pass, and this is just the interpretation a bishop made from something a stake president said about a meeting with Elder Renlund.
Rumors of one-hour church are feeling my gut with terror. Are we just giving up? Do we not appreciate the attrition that is two-hour church? #lds
I've heard stories like that too. But what a thing to have between you and your parents....

πNow that ICE/DHS are planning to buy βmegaβ warehouse detention centers across the US to house human beings you might want to listen to this gentlemanβs history lesson that he delivered at a city council meeting in AZ. Congress needs to have hearings on this like yesterday.
How can something smell so bad but taste so delicious?
Fine food for thought, fellow writers.

Rockwell was born November 5, 1968, in Daly City, California.[3][4] He is the only child of actors Pete Rockwell and Penny Hess. After their divorce when he was five, he was raised by his father in San Francisco and spent his summers with his mother in New York City.[5] At age 10, he made a brief stage appearance as Humphrey Bogart in an East Village improv comedy sketch with his mother.[6] (wikipedia)
Wait.
Then WHY does Sam Rockwell say potatuh??
"If you take a glass bottle and toss it up into the air so that when it hits the earth it shatters against the ground, and then you take the shards and glue them back together in the shape of a bird, then you no longer have a bottle, youβve made something new."
Rion Amilcar Scott on life vs fiction
Not a novel but I just read Shaw's Major Barbara and is fascinating. So hard to tell what side he ultimately falls on from the text alone.
I read the news!
"You donβt go bankrupt as often as Trump has gone bankrupt if youβre good at assessing risk."
A luxury hotel is now in flames in Dubai. Attacking a five-star resort in Dubai is like attacking a boulangerie in Paris, or a football match in London, or a Black Friday stampede at a Walmart on Long Island. It is an assault on something nationally iconic, and for the nation hit, it has a way of clarifying distinctions that have long been muddled.
I didn't come to the Atlantic to laugh at Iran War jokes. Doesn't...feel right.

Can we just finish releasing the Epstein files already so we can stop starting wars?
