I didn't think I would need to state this, but for those who need to know...

My poetry lately is about fascism, not people, not former life experiences, not any specific person. It is a way I cope with the world on fire.

IF you think they are about you, that might be a sign to check yourself.

As a writer, I say write whatever the hell you want. You cannot write without politics, even if the focus isn't politics, because politics shape human interactions, like it or not.

So ready to vote and make this happen! 6 months has already been too long!

Despite the hilariously pathetic but amusing and definitely predicted show between Musk and Trump, I'm honestly just looking forward to cuddling my partner this weekend and making her watch Midnight Mass because that Netflix series really captures the problems and beauties of religion so well.

Writing something real means risking everything. Offending someone. Being misunderstood.

Today, we add trigger warnings. Back then, they just called books immoral.

But the job remains the same: hold up the mirror—and don’t look away.
