Premier League corners right now are a cross between Strictly Come Dancing and MMA, “what happened there then Craig?”, “well I think Bowen was about to break into a Foxtrot, then he got slammed into the ground” 😆

Here for the music, synths, film, TV, astronomy, motorcycle and book chat #MDANT Definitely not a cynic, I’m an optimistic realist and a pragmatic idealist… Guitarist in a past life Left wing. Aneurin Bevan was right ✊ @ KevinAdams in “the other place”

As the days grow longer and the seasons turn, our little Black Country town welcomes once again the song of the first ice-cream van of the year, returned from wherever it is they migrate to in winter. #WarmsTheHeartITellYou
*We're*
We going to end up at Paul Weller's most well known vocal hook "Eating Trifle" at this rate 😆
That's got to be good without a doubt. I'm often not one for lyrics - my hearing has meant I can't catch them until I read them - so I always hoped there was a twist in there somewhere. Regardless a 4 year old singing the chorus was a "surprise..."
The "Hoorah for the Brownshirts" Rothermere family are pretty deep into "don't promise us a good time" territory here. What could be next, paying tax on UK income wherever you might happen to live?! 😱🥳
I might check in with him this afternoon to see if he spotted the ruse yet, hmmm 😆
For a while our youngest's fave tune was Firestarter so Fat of the Land was often cued up in the car.
One day I absent mindedly left the CD running and he walked into the house singing Smack My Bitch Up...
Luckily my partner convinced him it was actually "Smack My Fish Up" 😆

So, so good. I feel like a grew up with this band from the Tamla era through the 70s funk so this is my listen for tomorrow. Not to mention a whole can of ear worms 👌
I can imagine. I thought we might be in the same league as Wrexham ourselves but we’re probably passing in different directions.
I just started wearing an old reversible tartan/khaki red or dead hoody I’d bought in the 80s from a tiny shop in Camden. Definitely not long back from a free party or techno night there.
Definitely, all the more impressive to keep the pressure up though
😆 long hair, then short hair on repeat since I was in my teens
If that goal wasn’t offside who knows what might have happened?
Red card looked dubious to me too?
You in another decade
Early 2000s
That fight right until the last second and so close even one man down 👌👏👏
Easy to dislike Chelsea this evening, and all of the other days tbh
Come on Wrexham 🤞
Thank you off for a look
It's just a synth thing/brand that was out of this world expensive but groundbreaking way back - up until Don Buchla died in fact. But now there are affordable modules. Mastodon was good for a while, Reddit and others all had their day.
OK long shot on this platform of record lists and admittedly great new music and live band shares *but* is there an online Buchla platform out there to chat? The Reddit is dead.
I remember looking at the £14,000 Skylab system and thinking if only… but Tiptop #Buchla has meant we can all play now.
“World Book Day is about celebrating literature,” he said. “But when a child arrives speaking in dense metaphor and swaying slightly while insisting they’re ‘perfectly sober thank you’, you do have to ask some questions.”
Those GoPro’s and fake military gear are going to take a while to get through customs too, we hope 🤞🤞😆
The “mission” and “haulted” are the language of cosplaying children 🙄
Hope they keep him there. That said weren’t there ongoing court cases in the UK and Romania?
Just had an email that claimed to be from ChatGPT that began "Hello Dear" about "my subscription"... OK definitely real ChatGPT emailer, a bit odd there on both counts 😆
I spend ages cleaning and filling the bird feeders then my lovely partner heads out into the garden to bother the shrubs or attack some weeds. Apparently it’s rude to call her Worzel 😄
On behalf of the Midlands good afternoon Rob
Andre hands held wide after scoring his first and the winning goal against Liverpool last night

Rob Edwards applauding after the game, team behind him
This morning, “We only went and won again!”, “Yes I know”, “Was it on the news?”, “no I saw the Peroni in the recycling” 😄😄🤣
