Nebraska for me.
All good though.
They are gorgeous, Ritchie. Love them. Glad I persevered now!
Yeah-my first crush was Janet Ellis. Now her daughter is presenting New Year shows. Fun explaining that to my kids!

I initially presumed this was to be a concept album about Greenockβs finest band m.youtube.com/watch?v=WIQR...
To provide contrast-had to endure story from prominent lawyer of how he popped into a corner shop after a consultation at HMP Greenock, and saw handwritten sign βminimum spam order two slicesβ Mon the ton though
Compilations that shaped your musical taste, go!
Euthanizing t-shirts is a terrible task. I still have a Shop Assistants (Edinburgh band) t-shirt from 1986 that I canβt let go.
Brilliant album. Those were the daysβ¦
Thanks, Bert. I love this stuff, and will check it out. Have you listened to The History of Rome, by Mike Duncan? Fantastic
Let me know what you think. Horses is a great shout. Bit before my time, right enough!
A perfect album that came out when I was 21. Mind blowingβ¦just mind blowing.

Funny thing thoughβ¦we have 2 dogs, same breed and a year apart in age. Same food. Same sofa. One smells magnificent. Base notes of oak and mushrooms with top notes of digestive biscuits (with nod to other reply). Other dog? Nothing. Just nothing
Brilliant, Bert. Warmest congratulations. Hope all are well x
a poem with no title. I tried to paste the entirety of it into alt text but it ran out of characters before the poem was done, which seemed worse than just describing the poem. the point of the poem is that there's a sort of masculinist conception of writing as neurotic compulsion that I think is really wrongheaded, but at the same time, it's framing that's useful for some people, so they should hold that position if they like; but like most generalized writing advice, "don't write unless you must" seems silly to the author of this poem, i.e. me.
wrote a thing idly after the kids went to bed

All of the Daniel Johnston albums have been remastered by Kramer and are Pay What You Want for the next two days.
There is also a subscription option with one new release a month next year.

This is fantastic. And I guarantee, "Jeff Bezos Rowing Boat" goes *hard* in directions you will not be expecting.

Another recommendation for y'all.
I've listened to all of BBC Sounds output for Joni Mitchell's 80th birthday and by far the most insightful and interesting is Ralph McLean' s tribute to her.
Still on BBC Sounds to be downloaded for a couple of weeks.
If you're a fan of Mitchell you must listen.
The Beastβ’οΈ with added leaves.
Thanks, Wally. Iβll check it out
