😂😂 that particular comic came about after i sent BK a string of outraged messages over having ordered a chai latte in a cafe & found out only on first sip that it was in fact a cafe latte with chai syrup (i don’t like coffee). truly, ballet boi stede is me in many ways 🙂↕️
Stede says “ morning darling. What are you drinking?” Ed says “I think I might be history’s greatest tactician! I put coffee in my chai!” Stede looks stunned and says “you did fucking what?” The next panel shows “slam” and Ed’s standing by himself now

oh also when you open a tin of matcha make sure to use it within a month! store in a dark cool place/the fridge bcos exposure to light (oxidisation) will deteriorate the flavour. i store mine in the fridge but when making matcha will take it out n leave it on the side for a short while to let it +

from my year abroad. marukyu koyamaen is the big viral brand rn but notoriously difficult to get ur hands on bcos of it (genuinely great stuff tho but be careful of fakes). ippodo tea & nakamura tokichi i’m p sure have online stores, they’re good n popular brands but w the intense popularity +
abt half way 😂 i like adding a tea spoon of vanilla essence or agave syrup to a latte!
as for matcha brands, i have the benefit of living in a prefecture of japan known for its matcha so it’s very easy for me to pick up nice local brands here 😅 & when i was home i was using matcha powder i hoarded+
