I can see why critics didn't like this movie, but apart from dragging in a few places I thought it was a fun movie with laughs and a good message. I don't know if it's gonna be in the annual rotation, but it was far from the lump of coal critics made it out to be.

Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for the trip we were able to take to Maui this year. It was life changing in a few ways.
Every year at the nonprofit I lead, to mark the start of the holiday season, after everyone’s gone home for the day, I crank up some Christmas music and hang the Christmas lights. When I’m done I take a photo (here’s this year’s). This ritual has marked the start off the holidays for the last 5 yrs

Tony had a huge impact on my walk with Christ. Growing up in a Fundamentalist church, the first time I heard him speak was like a breath of fresh air. I don’t believe I’d be where I am today, leading a nonprofit that serves the poor in our community, without the influence of his teachings.
I'm sad to hear that Tony Campolo passed away today at the age of 89. bit.ly/4hWThmv He inspired me to be more like Jesus, to care for the poor, for the immigrant, for the oppressed, for the hungry. Here are some Tony Campolo quotes in memory of a well-lived life.

Tony Campolo died.
He preached in my small Texas town when I was a kid. He said something like: “Yesterday X number of kids in the USA died from starvation and malnutrition, and most of you don’t give a damn. In fact, you’re more upset I said ‘damn’ than you are that those kids died.”
RIP, Tony.
