They don’t call it GDQ Botfix for nothing

As a bonus, anti-shoutouts to the 5 minute song that is in 4/4 for the entire length of the track, only to throw a single measure of 13/8 in at the very end specifically just to fuck with you and make you lose the FC (it’s a great song though)
I’ve got no shortage of obscure indie games I can throw in here, but I’ll toss this in the ring. A Musical Story is not the best rhythm game I’ve played, but it offers a unique experience with interesting gameplay and music that’s basically a 70s concept album store.steampowered.com/app/1546100/...
This also means I now have every achievement in the game that is possible. Now I’m just stuck in unobtainable jail until the fix the last 4 achievements and make them possible on Xbox
Screenshot of IllegallySam’s stats page in UNBEATABLE. Shows an account rating of 10.004 stars
And there we go. Got the 10 star rating achievement in UNBEATABLE, all on controller on the Xbox version. This is not the way the game was meant to be played, lol
Rift of the Necrodancer, live on stage? It’s more likely than you’d think
Get ready for some Typoman gaming, coming at you next month
I was roommates with someone who ran for governor of Kansas while in college.
I guess it kinda depends a bit on the context of the marathon. If it’s just an online showcase with low stakes for charity, then whatever puts on the best show works best. While for something like GDQ, showing off the unmodified game makes the most sense, imo. Plus, safe routes are cool in some ways
Ironically, it would the same length of time as a fortnight
I mean, part of the reason it got clowned on is because of the “By the developers of Titanfall” moniker. Using that in advertising for anything that wasn’t a successor to Titanfall probably would’ve gotten a negative reaction. It wouldn’t have been as visceral as what we got, but still
I’m firmly in the camp of believing it would’ve died quietly with little fanfare if it had shadow dropped like they initially planned, instead of the public mockery it became. I don’t think it ever stood a chance in any universe, but the ridicule was a direct result of the spotlight shown on it.
But if I’m the only one to do it, I’m both the first and the best
Most water tastes similar enough for me not to care, but every so often I get flash banged by regional tap water and have to reevaluate if I even want water there
I hate getting a lemon slice with my water at a restaurant. One lemon slice is enough to make water taste different, but not enough to add a meaningful amount of lemon flavor to it. It just makes it worse
Still not terribly happy with how this run turned out overall, but it's still a pretty sizable PB. A lot of fights went pretty poorly (plus a handful of tricks too), and my chapter 3 rng was quite literally the worst I've ever seen, but hey, the run continued alright at the very least.

Ayo, what is going on on Steam today
“bro is an OG” bro can only watch PG-13
Time to start putting “first playthrough” in the title every time I stream speedruns, balance things out
Some games let you install them ahead of time, which is technically a benefit
Btw, the game softlocked on this screen too, lol
I don’t even know what to say with this one. What am I looking at
Is it finally time to start calling it retro
Catch me running the best Sonic game there is for Speed Ducks
Gotta mention the Guitar Hero games on DS. Holding the system sideways, with the GBA slot used for a peripheral for the guitar fret buttons, all brought together by using the stylus to strum each note. Worked surprisingly well, and easily my favorite use of everything unique about the system.
That being said, we’re all clowning on that guy because he said the system has like 4 good games, which is blatantly wrong, lol. Rare’s catalog alone is bigger than 4 games
The N64 100% gets a huge amount of nostalgia points overall, but the fact that the system got so few games in general (and limited third party support) gives it a huge disadvantage against systems with sheer volume behind them. I wonder how many more games we’d have gotten if the N64DD didn’t flop
