I wish I spent a bit more time Bsky. Some of my favorite people are here. But there is a clear renewables/fossil fuels divide between Bsky and X and it is challenging enough to pay attention to one, let alone two distinct platforms.
Some quick thoughts and recommended readings on the Iran protests

In our hands are light and fire.
Each individual light is small,
But together โ the light is strong.

I can't stop crying. This is a miracle on live television.
yes the US component is v important here. again, i'd differentiate between impact vs presence
100% i think syria partially sits in both categories but absolutely agree with you
imho, it is four factors: having a receptive audience in DC, the Syria conundrum, and the strikes on Iran & Qatar. Each of these in their own way incentivized greater TR engagement, and created space for a greater TR role in the process.
Incredible news to wake up to. Here is hoping the deal is executed swiftly and without issue. Everyone deserves a fresh start.

Business is booming in the Middle East for Trump. Deal after deal after deal.
Netanyahu also agreed to pay compensation to the Qatari security officer.
Which is peanuts when you consider all the Qatari money Netanyahu happily delivered to Hamas over the years.
Netanyahu has always had a soft spot for Qatar.
Netanyahu apologized to Qatar before apologizing to the Israeli public.
So Netanyahu has apologized to Turkey and Qatar in his political career. Jordan too, if memory serves correctly.

๐ฌ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฑ Overlooked by many, Greece's Mitsotakis delivered a clear statement at UNGA this week:
"I tell my Israeli friends they risk alienating all their remaining allies if they persist on a path that is shattering the potential of a two-state solution."

Netanyahu's UNGA speech in happening in front an near empty plenary. The only applause? From the remaining flunkies and donors flown into NYC.
This is Netanyahu's legacy.
